The position of Treasurer in Ada Township is an elected position. The following are some of the duties and responsibilities of the Treasurer's Office:
The Treasurer is required to receive and take charge of all funds belonging to the township and to pay over and account for the funds. The Treasurer is the township's agent for collecting all payments. The Treasurer diligently maintains accurate records of all income, receipts and invests surplus funds.
The Deputy Treasurer assists in the collection and administration of property taxes, township revenues, banking and reconciliation of tax accounts and other township funds. The Deputy Treasurer also assists in the balancing/closing of books and preparation of financial statements.
Dog licenses may also be obtained through the Treasurer's Office from December 1 - March 1.

Specially marked bags can be purchased for $.75 each. The cost of the bags includes pick-up service. Please keep an eye on the township website for pickup dates.
