Family Events:

The Parks & Recreation Department offers various family-friendly events throughout the year. Programs/events include: Naturalist-Led Walks; Discovery Days, Junior Naturalist, Young Explorers, Spring/Summer Day Camps, July 4th Fireworks; Family Day at the Parks; River Clean Up Day; Roselle Park River Festival (featuring a Discovery Exploration Nature Walk), live bands, great food, pumpkin painting, silo observation deck open, wall climbing, animal exhibits, and more following Roselle Park's Grand River Run 8K 50% Paved/50% Non-Paved Trail Race & 2K Family Fun Run/Walk events; winter events and programming; and much more! Schools Based Programs:

Opportunities for pre K-12 schools range from guided field trips in the Parks ($2), to service learning projects (free), to shelter facilities for rent ($25/day). Contact the Park Office for details, curriculum, fees and scheduling.

Boy and Girl Scout Programs:
