Ada Township contracts with Cascade Township for building permit issuance and inspection services.

Ada Township Building Permit Application Process:

To apply for a permit, a permit application form and three sets of supporting plans should be submitted to the Planning & Zoning Department at Ada Township Offices. MAP

After review of plans and signoff by the Zoning Administrator for conformity with zoning standards and payment of any required water and sewer connection fees, the application and plans are forwarded to Cascade Township for issuance of the permit.

The applicant is contacted by Cascade Township when the permit is issued and ready for pickup. Building Permit Fees are paid to Cascade Township at the time the permit is picked up at Cascade Township offices. To visit the Cascade Building Inspections Department website page, click here.
